The Renntechnik Motorsport GT3 Centre Bypass is meticulously engineered in order to offer OEM levels of fit and finish whilst improving the car in many ways. The OEM exhaust system of the 997/991 GT3 is a major downfall of an otherwise phenomenal car. The standard system is extremely restrictive, holding back power but also that beautiful howling flat 6 GT3 symphony. In addition to improved sound and power output, our Centre Bypass is constructed from ultra lightweight Titanium giving weight savings behind the rear axle - always welcome in the 911 chassis.

All 3.8 and 4.0 GT3/RS from 997.1 through to 991.2 are given a tonal change akin to a Cup car when fitted with a Renntechnik Motorsport Titanium Centre Bypass. Quite importantly, you'll notice only a discrete difference at low revs/cruising speeds. Once the revs climb (particularly under hard acceleration), the resonance of the Titanium really does transform the car to give a Cup/RSR like sound.
 
Following thousands of road miles as well as testing on several UK tracks and Nürburgring Nordschleife, we're confident you'll be very happy - no matter how the car shall be used. When fitted to our 991.2 GT3 demo car, the car has still been consistently under UK dB track limits.
 
Renntechnik Motorsport GT3 Centre Bypass is compatible with the OEM side mufflers resulting in the quickest and most cost effective way of releasing additional power and noise. Install time should be around 1-2 hours.
